If it's been a while since you've been to the gym, don't just jump into your squats without preparing first guys because your body is tight and most likely going to feel a bit weak and wobbly. Scott how about weightlifting shoes? does it help a lot?
I used to nag my last girlfriend about foot positioning all the time. Her form was good, but she never hit parallel. The problem? She always liked to squat with straight feet. I'd tell her in detail how and why she'd benefit from pointing the toes out at least 30 degrees and she'd still insist on doing things her way, all because a physical therapist told her to do it that way. She never made depth and she could've if she just listened and pointed the toes out.

Can you adress the butt wink? How you are supposed to keep your back engaged throughout a squat and then if you go below parallel you get butt wink aka back disengagement. Curious what you think about it
