Smashing my 5km PB with Mo Farah – The Body Coach TV

by YouTube Team

At the start of December I set myself the goal of running 5km in 19:30. This was an almost impossible challenge considering my first attempt took me 22:14 but I wanted a moon shot. A stretch target to really get myself feeling uncomfortable and to push myself both physically and mentally. Today on my 5th attempt at running the 5km distance I managed to totally smash my goal.

It was the hardest run of my life but as Mo says “Anything is possible in life”.

What is your health and fitness goal for 2021?

Well done Joe on a new PB! Very jealous you got to run with Mo. I'd just finished my run and saw Mo (didn't spot you) when I was driving out of the park yesterday morning. My two girls love you both and are livid I missed you!

I’m going for a sub 20 min 5km this new year. In 2020 I didn’t exercise for the first 6 months and started in July at 35:00 minutes and I’ve ended the year with 23:06 as my personal best. So I think if I eat right and push myself sub-20 is possible.

Inspirational stuff 👍 I did a different type of a 5K challenge on January 1 – I tried to run it in exactly 20:21 (because it's year 2021 now) without watching the clock. You can check it out in my channel and follow me if you like it 🔥

All you’re worried about is making money , there’s people out there that VOLUNTEER to coach, ref , train people…… giving up their free time with no expectations to make any money let alone making millions of pounds.
Stop making out you’re a Mr nice guy , thousands of people give up their free time with no Recognition for their efforts for coaching and helping others .

Why don’t you do something positive with the millions you’re making and give it to clubs that need Financial support , that’s what I nice guy would do.
