l recommend using straps, alternating grip puts your underhanded arm in position for bicep injury…tear your bicep and your out of the game 4-6 months after surgery
For my foot position i set up as if I'm trying to achieve a max box jump

i bought a lever belt and just like everything i have ever worn, i was between two sizes. The holes i have it on now are juuuuust too shy of being perfect, and going for the tighter holes i cant close it lol. FML

Hey Scott, Deadlift is an exercise I left for a long time ago. I don't do it in the correct way and afraid to damage my back. Lower back issues are commonly a returning problem for me.
idk man…I know a couple guys that lift way heavier with their feet FURTHER apart from each other.
do these tips apply to hexbar deadlift as well?

Jump on the spot. Where your feet naturally land is your natural foot placement for pulls.

Holy cow this dudes belt was way too tight… It's not supposed to be a corset!! Great video!
If you know what u are doing that spinal flection is bs. You grab and bent knees until they touch the bar, so that the bar is in de right place. Then u engage your back so the spine leaves the play.
Also the hips down create tension and some people use that to pull slack at the same time so it could make the lift easier. When u use full ‘hip drive’ people tend to go up too much and use their backs too much causing injury.
And last having as much air as possible is going to help you build pressure. That will create power. But you have to release a bit at the top and reset.
A belt can help feel the brace but if you are good with your body and have a good trained core a belt is not needed. Can still be used tough.
