Is it strange that I listen to classical music when I lift? I'm not even a small dude either, I usually incline bench between 225 lbs (start) to 365 lbs (max out 3 reps). Between sets, I usually contort the song with my hands too.
I'm just asking because I get a lot of weird looks at the gym.

i never come right down… think about it…. you bringing the weight all the way down you really dont have a feel of it so it can be a bit of a shock once you press it back up but bringing it down slow you know what it feels like therefore bringing it back up you wont be shocked….. i also look at it like youre trying to stop something heavy coming at a faster rate vs trying to stop something heavy coming at a slow rate… which would be easier??? just my opinion
