Mike I'm highly considering this program..I'd appreciate it if you'd give me a small heads up though, throughout the duration of the program are there a protocol of percentages based off our 1RM that we should abide by? I've looked into the program and can't seem to find anything relating to that..

Hey Mike, just sharing some advice on your form. I'm sure you have noticed that some of your squats are higher in depth, and some are cutting it close, while others are deep.

If you squat by feel, and you are feeling for that stretch reflex, that is probably the reason why some of your squats vary in depth.

The stretch reflex really kicks in when we reach maximum knee flexion, and hip flexion. If you slow-mo the reps that your depth is a bit higher, you will notice that you reach your maximum hip flexion/knee flexion EARLIER, then on the reps that your depth is lower (this is even more evident as you are reaching your max).

To prevent that early maximum hip flexion, you will need to try and limit some early knee flexion (so not letting your knees shoot too forward at the start) OR not allowing your lowback to round as you descend OR both. Obviously, I don't know your mobility/flexibility limits so I would not be able to accurately judge which options would be best.

Honestly, amazing job on inspiring everyone to squat more. Hope this helps you a bit :).

Mike, you squat like Stan Efferding? You position the barbell at a high bar position and the proceed with the hips back like a low bar squat?

biggest thing I noticed is how he bounces at the top not just doing a standing lockout, I've never seen before but I am sure is to minimize joint pain/injuries

Super cool! I will be trying this starting tonight. I currently bench every day. Been doing it for years. It really adds on size! Transient hypertrophy based plans are the way to go for building muscle from what I have noticed!

This is my favorite trainer. Mike Rashid is a beast! As much as I like him I can't agree with the squats every day. I disagree. You need 72 hours to of rest on legs and I don't care if you have the perfect form. When performing the squat there is a fluid in the lower back the is used and eventually there's no more. Your back needs time to recover those fluids at least 72 hours. Now in most cases you can get injured or depending on your genetics you won't get injured right away but eventually you will. This is a fact. He's still a beast but the legs aren't like the upper body and unfortunately they need more time to recover
