I honestly can't understand why so many people stop supporting Arnold. It seems they didn't really try to understand his message. How I understood it was:
Your freedom should stop where the freedom of another person begins. Yes, the statement "screw your freedom" maybe was a provocative formulation, but it makes sense in context.

Yo Nick, FREEDOM is not a political issue whatsoever. It's actually quite simple. You are NEVER afraid to give your opinion. Why now? I'm guessing it's a financial decision and/or the fact that you do business with Arnold at his conventions. It's really sad af that the amazing people who decide to serve their country do it because they believe in OUR FREEDOMS and do so with their lives, but WE (the citizens) are "afraid" to say anything about freedom because you believe it's a "political issue" and don't want to say anything? Extremely disappointing. Freedom has NOTHING to do with politics

I think Mr. Calum and Mr. Brian missed the whole point that Arnold was talking about in concern about those people that won't protect themselves from this pandemic and they are dying because of their poor judgment, because they want freedom? How can you enjoy freedom when you are risking your own health for not wearing a simple mask or to be vaccinated to keep your health. I have some co-worker that just had die from this Covid-19 for not protecting themselves. Sorry to say but they really don't understand Arnold's concept on this matter. I'm very disappointed to hear them talking like this. I'm a big fan of both of these gentlemen, but I guess I will do the same thing like them….out of my wall too.

Alright. The mask thing was just a terrible off message statement. The issue with the mask thing is that you are affecting others if you choose not to wear one. Because the action of wearing or not wearing a mask can interfere with others health, it is something that should be enforced at the LOCAL level. If a business wants you masked, you better have one on or you don't get service. I don't think it is something the government should mandate, but maybe give tax incentives to businesses that require all customers to wear masks. This will help cut down on the bull crap stimulus bills and give people a clear understanding of why businesses are requiring people to wear masks. This still grants businesses freedom to not require them if they wish. The constitution gives you the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. None of these things are affected by a mask. Giving someone a potentially life threatening disease takes all 3 of these rights away. With that said, if you did not get your FREE vaccine, then you should NOT be given priority at hospitals.
There seems to be offended individuals left and right, reacting at peoples’ past or at some statement someone did. It really is a demonstration of self-importance and narcissism. Calum must be just a few inches from being mentally handicapped, not the brightest fella.

The context of what Arnold said is important. I don’t agree with it taken out of context but Arnold’s point was that “freedom” in the way that anti vaxxers isn’t the most important thing. People saying that needing a vaccine to go to school for example is “unfairly restricting their freedom” is ridiculous. No one is saying that you have to get the vaccine, just That if you don’t, you have to accept the consequences of taht
