I liked Arnold:) But even at That time, Arnold was actually small compared to "true hvts." Etc. small legs, thighs and calves. Arnold is BS in today's standards!
and why do people say Arnold had chicken legs? Compared to the mass freaks of today, um yea i guess, however if he had too much more size on them it would have thrown off his proportions. I think for a taller guy his legs were damn near perfect, possibly an inch or inch and half bigger at the most, any more and it would have looked stupid

Listen you Chuckleheads, if these so Called Assumptions were not true and Slanderous, I'm sure a gag order would've have be in place. For those who are stuck on Arnold and Joe Weider that's your choice. But if you would take your heads out of your Behinds you'd see that there are other legends of this sport that should be recognized and saluted for their efforts and Contributions! Enough Said!

Arnold of 1971 as Mr. Olympia would have beaten Bill Pearl in the NABBA Professional Mr. Universe and I have no doubt. But Joe did not want his stallion to risk it so it never happened. Great report Nick!

When I first saw this picture 35 years ago when I was 15 I first thought that Arnold was the overall winner no offence to Bill Pearl but when they were standing side by side I just assumed they competed against each other and Arnold to me looked like the winner.
Yeah i reckon Bill Pearl would have beaten arnold.
There is a lot of stuff about Arnold that no one talks about .
Arnold came to this country by joe weider. Weider gave him a job and a place to live. It wasn't like he came to this country and had to fend for himself joe weider took care of all that. Plus his dad was a police cheif Arnold also served in the Austrian military. On top of that he was already winning power lifting shows in Europe. So it's not like Arnold was this abondoned kid with nothing living on the streets.
Also nobody talks about Charles wags Bennet and what he did for Arnold before joe weider
