How to get started with Calisthenics?
First I would highly recommend buying a home pull up bar. I left my suggestions down below.

Having a home pull up bar lets you practice more often. For most movements all you need is a sturdy over head bar and the floor. You should also find a park near you if this is possible. Some countries or areas of the world this is not possible. We try to help with our Park Finder.

Now that you have a place or places to workout you need to determine your goals. If you want to get more fit. learn a skill, lose fat. Different workout programs are for different goals.

This channel features of variety of people with separate training styles and programs that they run concurrently with Barstarzz training. So the answer is dependent on the person in the video. One thing stays true for all is most of their workout is Calisthenics somewhere near 75%.

Really nice to hear so many different experiences! It really can be beneficial for all beginners and also advanced guys. I personally wish I knew how many positive things, experiences and friends will calisthenics bring to me. It became important part of my life. Also that your progression never stops. As one of the guys said, there is no end there is no finish. And that is what we love!

Nice to see some females, could you do a video on proper form for beginners .
I recently broke a blood vessel in my pec. Mussel the one that goes down into a breast ouch….. I am 52, female and have a good physic been working out for two years, great diet. No beef no pork. But lots of chicken ,fish, fruits and veggies . So could you talk abit about vascular health as well and how to protect your self against some issues with that in the beginning

I've worked out for 20 plus years, but I'm horrible in Calisthenics..I keep going from channel to channel on guys who are good at this so I can get some tips to step outta my comfort zone and get better at Calisthenics.. I even struggle to do pull-ups and Chin-ups 🤪🤪..

For me, I’d say: TECHNIQUE, to learn proper pulling muscle contraction and release to avoid tendon pulling as much as possible to avoid tendinitis which is what preventing me from enjoying calisthenics like before. I got tenis elbow, and golfer’s elbow. It sucks and it’s so frustrating because it takes forever to heal.
