okay as im reading the comments one of the things that sticks out to me the most is the topic of birth control. i personally use it to eliminate my cycle but any reccomendations for something else? im a swimmer so having to be in a skin tight suit(tech suits that i cant take off and put back on) for 12-15 hours at a swim meet and not being able to change out my products is not ideal at all

It’s easier for me to enjoy my mornings on weekends but my morning starts at 4am and I cycle to work and do PT for 1 1/2 hours, shower, and then get to work at 09 🥺I’m ready to quit lol

I’ve tried working out in a sports bra and then the moment I step out of my room and my sister or brother see me they freak out and start to say terrible things about me and my body.

I like :
1. Positive affirmations in the morning. I know its dorky , but it works " I love what I do " " I'm going to be so successful" anything you are struggling with. It really really helps

2. Make your schedule before you go to bed… wake up with intent.
3. I run when: I'm frustrated, dont know what to do, angry. I always can come back ready to accomplish the goal.

Somehow I got interrupted while watching this originally and just finished it now. I got teary-eyed when you talked about the importance of community, but full-on crying during the sports bra story! A lot of this is good advice but when you have young children it’s a different ball game. I try and have a routine but it’s impossible to do everyday with kids.

Omg Katie this video resignated with me sooo much!! When you talked about that moment in yoga class ugh this is how I felt😥 I am crying. I did not like the way I looked in pictures because I was so heavy so I did everything possible to not take them. I wish I would've been more comfortable and taken more pictures with my dad and not cared what people thought. I lost my dad to cancer. I look at the pictures where I am missing and I know why and regret it soo much because I can't have a do over. I was already working on my journey to lose weight. I will never miss out on another day, another picture, another moment. You are soo right surrounding ourselves with supportive ppl is sooo key!! Thank you for sharing🥰♥️

I am not on social media at all, and that alone was a very hard transition to make and some days feels lonely not having it anymore,but I felt for me I needed to quit watching everyone else's lives and focus more on my own. Having said that, what is the best way to build that community of support?

You talk about "creating community" & I want to do that… but I'm in my early 50's do you mean just going on social media & participating there? I work & am a single Mom. Not much time for going out with people. Just need a little help redefining & modernizing my definition of "creating community".

I cried when you talked about wearing only a sports bra for the first time. I relate so much to that and that’s been one of my biggest goals is to find my confidence even when I’m vulnerable. Hi Katie, I really want to get off birth control pills but last time I suddenly stopped taking it (I was originally on the shot) and I got really bad hormonal acne. I'm thinking the only thing you can really do is stop taking it and then cleanse your gut?
Also I've been wanting to workout first thing in the morning but do you do it on an empty stomach and then eat breakfast or is it best to to have something to eat first for fuel? And if so what do you recommend?
