Thank you for another great Walk and Talk. I enjoy these and especially your topics. I enjoy exercise because it feels good and I'm 50 now, so I want to be strong and able as I age. But I really like for the mental aspects too. It really helps me to shift my mind away from stressful work to peaceful living. I especially love walking outside, enjoying the peace and beauty around us naturally. It's very calming too. Thank you for all you do.

I love your list of reasons for exercising. My reason is that it keeps my mood up and my depression down and out. Jessica has helped me lose weight and be more fit and feel good every day. This morning I was feeling kinda meh so when I turned on You tube and you channel I just decided to do something easy. Now I feel great

I suggest a new topic of how deal with post menopausal belly weight. Since menopause I have developed more fat in my torso, mostly the front, boobs and belly are too big. How to get rid of it?

I love these walk and talk sessions. They help me stay focused on what I am doing instead of being distracted by what is going on around me. This one is super important. I am in my mid fifties and can say from experience that moving as you age is essential. I sit all day, working at a computer, and I have had periods where I barely move all day. Then the vicious cycle begins, muscle stiffness = can't move, too tired = don't want to move, but the less you move the more these things become your daily mantra. Keep moving and keep the blood flowing to your muscles and mind!!!

This brought a Chinese proverb to my mind again. 'If you dont make time for your health when you are young, you will have to make time for sickness when your older

thanks Jessica! I am a huge fan, and it all started with these you tube videos.  I especially love the workouts I do barefoot. I love the cardio ballet dvd so much. I have bad arthritis in my neck and wake up in great pain most days, but I get myself moving to one of your videos and feel immensely better and so positive. God bless you, Jessica.

I was diagnosed with MS 7 years ago, followed by a downward spiral into depression. Then one day I said to myself "Stop this, David!", that afternoon I went for a walk, every day for the next 2 weeks I went walking. They got longer and longer. Then a friend commented that I don't seem unhappy, and I realised that I had started to laugh again. So for me exercise keeps me out of the dark places. I could not see myself not exercising, it's not even for the "look", not interested in relationships, seriously dragging another person into my illness would be highly unfair. Anyway exercise helped me beat depression.

This walk was very inspiring and enjoyable. Thank you for the great information and eye-opening statistics. Thanks for helping so many people be fit and presenting exercises that can work for each individual. With your walking workouts, I have found it personally helpful to use a pair of light weights and get some arm and upper body toning during the walk.

My new favourite benefit of exercising is that it gives me energy not only during the day but it also helps me to get up more energized the next morning. I've noticed that if I don't exercise for a couple of days I can barely wake up in the morning and have to hit snooze a couple of times but If I exercise the previous day I'm up in a couple of seconds. Strange, but I'm happy about it:)

I suffer from severe depression. I believe exercise helps me deal with that. If you ever get the chance, can you talk a bit about how exercise can keep us from feeling depressed, please? Sassy, my yorkie, sends Peanut a great big kiss!

I'm a middle aged widow.  When my husband passed 3 years ago and I my grief was so fresh, if I had not been walking and running I would have lost my mind!  Exercise is so important for our mind, heart and soul!  Blessings! Denise

I've been a walker my whole adult life. It clears the fog in my brain, some problems that I can't seem to work through, become clearer after a walk.

I love your videos. There is something for any occasion. Walking aerobics, dance chair… I am hooked. I am also turning 53 in a month in a half and don't feel like it. Partly due to exercise. But with recent foot surgery . I have to change up my routine and these walk and talk videos are great. I heard that exercise is a great mood enhancer, but what is it really that makes you feel better … I know it does me, but what is the reason? Is it more than endorphins?

Hi jessica, you are so right that exercise (even just walking) can be such a benefit to your health and wellbeing far beyond weight loss. I began a walking routine about 1 1/2 years ago (I'm 75 by the way) and besides losing weight, I have gotten off 4 blood pressure medications and my A1C is normal again. When I can't walk in the heat and humidity of the Florida summers, I join you in your Walk n' Talk videos. Thanks so much for doing this series.

Thanks a bunch for these walk and talk series. As a teacher I usually have no problem getting my steps in, but on break sometimes it is a little harder, even with a morning workout. I've been using these walk and talks to meet my daily move goals!

Hi Jessica, I wanted to thank you for these gentle offerings. I have just finished 6 months of chemo and radiation therapy, and these have helped me continue some exercise even at my weakest times. You have provided a great service for me.
Thanks,Lynn

A big reason I exercise is for my posture – I have scoliosis and my shoulders naturally round forward so I find yoga, pilates and walking really helps my core and helps me to stand up straighter. I also don't like intense exercise so videos like this are perfect for me 🙂
Can you please do a walk and talk on how to stay motivated and feel good during winter?

Thank you so much for all you do!❤️I was feeling really down and depressed today and I force myself to do one of your walk and talks when I feel this way. It ALWAYS makes me feel better and I almost always have energy to do more afterwards. Your workouts have been a godsend! I've been going through so many changes from menopause and you're workouts have helped with weight gain AND mental health for me ❤️ I can't thank you enough for making these available to everyone 😘😘😘It would be awesome to see a walk and talk on menopause and benefits of exercise for those symptoms. Once again Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so very much for your positive advice and guidance. I love to walk and talk with you. I do it pretty much every day inside, and when it's not raining or too cold, I do your workouts on the deck outside. I keep active FOR ME. It's one thing I do for myself and I don't consider it selfish anymore. Peanut is awesome.

HI! Most of these comments are pretty old, but I had surgery two weeks ago and did this walk with another low intensity walk and it worked great for me. It helped me get my blood flowing and get my body moving without doing too much and hurting myself. Thank you for such a lovely series. I also love your barre workouts but won't be doing those for at least another few weeks.

I love this reminder that exercise is more than what we associate it with. I was one that initially used exercise for only physical reasons but I have moved to using it for all of the other benefits, it’s all about overall health now 😊
